Directors & Administrative Personnel
All Directors and Administrative personnel (except Academic Director/Academic Coordinator)
- Bachelor’s degree as the baseline qualification or higher,
• A minimum of 5 years of verifiable employment experience teaching/supervising in a school setting or administrating in any field related to a required career. Graduate degrees in business administration shall be considered corresponding to 5 year work experience in administration.
• Strong presentation, communication and writing skills
• Basic computer skills
• Demonstrated proficiency in the English Language
• Adequate knowledge, good ethics, and expertise in a required career
Academic Director:
Who engages in part-time language teaching assignment, curriculum development, faculty training supervision, and/or evaluation of faculty teaching assignment MUST have;
- Master’s degree or higher in TESL/TEFL/TESOL – If master’s degree is not in (T)ESL/(T)EFL, Program Director must have TESL/TEFL/TESOL certificate that includes instruction as follows; (language teaching methodology, the nature of language/languages, the structure of English, second language acquisition, intercultural communication, practicum experiences)
- Minimum 5 year of employment experience teaching/supervising in a postsecondary language program or institution
- Strong presentation, communication and writing skills
- Basic computer skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in the English language
- Successful execution of demonstration lesson
- Ability to use a variety of teaching tools to ensure maximum learning
- Adequate knowledge, good ethics, and expertise in a required career
Academic Coordinator:
- Master’s degree or higher in TESL/TEFL/TESOL – If master’s degree is not in (T)ESL/(T)EFL, Academic Coordinator must have TESL/TEFL/TESOL certificate that includes instruction as follows; (language teaching methodology, the nature of language/languages, the structure of English, second language acquisition, intercultural communication, practicum experiences)
- Minimum 2 year teaching experience in a postsecondary language program or institution
- Strong presentation, communication and writing skills
- Basic computer skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in the English language
- Successful execution of demonstration lesson
- Ability to use a variety of teaching tools to ensure maximum learning
- Adequate knowledge, good ethics, and expertise in a required career
