Refund Policy

REFUND POLICY & PROCEDURE

Terms (15 weeks)

 

A. A student who cancels within 7 days of signing the enrollment agreement receives all monies returned with the exception of the non-refundable registration fee.

B. Thereafter, a student will be liable for 1. the non-refundable registration fee plus 2. the cost of any textbook or supplies accepted plus 3. tuition liability as of the student’s last date of physical attendance.

Tuition liability is divided by the number of terms in the program. Total tuition liability is limited to the term during which the student withdrew or was terminated and any previous terms completed. 

 

(a) First Term

Quarters (10 Weeks)

B. There after, a student will be liable for

1. the non-refundable registration fee plus

2. the cost of any textbook or supplies accepted plus

3. tuition liability as of the student’s last date of physical attendance.

Tuition liability is divided by the number of quarters in the program. Total tuition liability is limited to the quarter during which the student withdrew or was terminated and any previous quarters completed.

 (a) First Quarter

Mini (5 weeks)

 

A. A student who cancels within 7 days of signing the enrollment agreement receives all monies returned with the exception of the non-refundable registration fee.

B. Thereafter, a student will be liable for 1. the non-refundable registration fee plus 2. the cost of any textbook or supplies accepted plus 3. tuition liability as of the student’s last date of physical attendance.

Tuition liability is determined by the percentage of the program offered to the student.

C. The student refund may be more than that stated above if the accrediting agency refund policy results in a greater refund.

 Tuition Refund Process

  1. If a registered student wishes to cancel, he/she must do so in writing, submitting a Course Withdrawal Form and Refund Request Form, to Amlotus Admission Department, 500 8th Ave Suite 909, New York, NY 10018 or by email to admission@amlotus.edu. Students can also complete the forms and submit them to their school agent.
  2. Then the refund calculation form is completed by a school to determine refunds owned to students who cease instruction.
  3. Any refund to a student shall be paid by the school within forty-five days of the date on which the student withdraws from the program.

Such date shall be the earliest of

  • the date on which the student gives written notice to the school Or
  • last date of physical Attendance.
  1. If a student has failed to attend classes for a period of fourteen (14) calendar days, the school shall send by regular mail a notice to the student that the student shall be deemed to have withdrawn from the program if the student does not notify the school to the contrary within twelve days from the date on which the letter is sent.
  2. If the student fails to respond within such twelve-day period, the student shall be deemed to have withdrawn pursuant to Section 5002 of the Education Law. The failure of a student to notify the school director in writing of withdrawal may delay refund of tuition.
