AmLotus® Eid Mubarak Celebration: A Festive Gathering
April 15th marked a special day for the AmLotus® community as we gathered to celebrate the AmLotus® Eid Mubarak Celebration, recognizing the end of Ramadan. This event was not only a celebration of this significant religious occasion but also an expression of the rich cultural tapestry that defines our vibrant community at AmLotus® Career School.
A Festive Gathering
The day began with an air of excitement as students and faculty decorated the common room with colorful banners and traditional decor. The atmosphere was filled with the scents of aromatic dishes, each telling a story of heritage and tradition brought from different parts of the world. As the party kicked off, the room buzzed with laughter and chatter. Students, donned in beautiful traditional attire, shared stories and customs from their homelands, enriching everyone’s understanding and appreciation of the diverse cultures represented at our school.
A Feast of Flavors
No Eid celebration is complete without a feast, and ours was a testament to the culinary skills of our students and staff. The table was laden with a variety of dishes, from savory biryanis and kebabs to sweet desserts like baklava and gulab jamun. Everyone enjoyed the meal, and for many, it was a delightful introduction to new tastes and flavors.
Capturing Memories in Times Square
Following the feast, the celebration continued as we took to the iconic Times Square for a photo session. The excitement was palpable as students posed for pictures against the backdrop of bustling Times Square, its billboards and vibrant energy providing the perfect setting for our group photos.
These photos were more than just keepsakes; they symbolized the unity and friendship among our students, who, though from various backgrounds, have found a common home at AmLotus® . The laughter and camaraderie shared among everyone were a true reflection of the supportive and inclusive community we’ve built.
